Introduction
The Mongolian Association of Certified Translators and Interpreters was established as a voluntary organization with a Board of five members. Since its inception, it has obtained proper approval from the relevant authority and is working to fulfill the association's goals and objectives. Currently, the association has over 2,000 certified members who have received stamps, certificates, and identification cards and are actively engaged in its activities.
The association collaborates with numerous domestic and international organizations that have expressed interest in working together. The Mongolian Association of Certified Translators and Interpreters was is authorized to provide official collective translation services on behalf of the organization. It is open to motivated individuals and legal entities capable of performing translation work. Members who meet the association’s certification requirements can become official translators and hold an indefinite stamp from the Translators’ Committee.

Purpose
The noble purpose of the Mongolian Association of Certified Translators and Interpreters was is to help all certified translators correctly, beautifully, and proficiently use the Mongolian language, develop language and cultural skills, and become capable of producing accurate, appropriate, and artistic translations.

Goals and Activities
- Protect the Mongolian vocabulary;
- Establish and maintain communication and cooperation with domestic, foreign, and international organizations with similar aims;
- Prepare, organize, and disseminate news and information related to the association's activities; provide public information, promote, and introduce its work;
- Protect the lawful rights and interests of its members and improve their professional skills;
- Provide the relevant professional translation staff to government, private, and non-governmental organizations;
- Support Mongolian-origin foreigners, especially those proficient in the Mongolian script, and promote their well-being;
- Ensure unity among translators;
- Focus on maintaining a unified register and research of Mongolian translators.
